Positive: Lodge was spacious and well located. Host was quick to deliver missing items.
Negative: Very sparsely furnished. Very cheap fixtures and fittings. Shower cubicle door didn't shut properly. No hairdryer, no bath mats, no soap in the en suite. No instructions about bins or recycling. Bed sheets were pilled and felt rough. Had to hunt for towels, no towels provided in the master suite. Only one pillow provided per bed. It was not clear when I viewed the property on Booking.com that it would cost £60 for us to go for a swim - it suggested a swimming pool was included in the amenities for the lodge. Also when reviewing the lodges on Trip Advisor the guests appeared to have the hotel amenities included in the price? This was very misleading.
Summary: We were only staying 3 nights, so the lack of amenities didn't spoil the holiday, although unimpress

Positive: Nice comfortable house well presented Everything in working order. Good supply of toiletries and kitchen detergents &tea bags.
Negative: No down pipe on evegutter.Liked idea of sheep grazing lawns,but droppings all over footpath &Road could not help bringing it into the clean house.Kiids bikes left lying on roads had to drive around them.Many of the lodges seemed very unkempt since we last stayed there.
Summary: Pleasent very nice accomidation.Lovely location.

Positive: The location is lovely, the woodlands is down in a hollow and a very quiet area. The lodges are well equipped with kitchen equipment, the spaces are large, airy and bright. The village of Mulranny is a two or three minute walk to the shop, bars and restaurants.
Negative: The information says that there is a see view, there isn't! The homes are down in a dip and behind the hotel so that's completely untrue. The beds are very uncomfortable both myself and my wife suffered with bad backs after three nights sleeping on them. The downstairs bathroom has a bath and shower but the shower is a handheld one with no shower partition which renders it useless. Many of the windows had seals that were broken meaning that there was condensation inside, the deck and siding on the homes were in need of repair and painting as they look shabby. They layout of the bedrooms is not thought out as plugs are hidden behind beds or over the other side of the room. The whole place needs a bit of investment to tidy it up and make it a really great place. Also, for what we paid (300 eur per night) it was a bit expensive. There weren't many paying guests but there were many of the lodges occupied by Ukranian people who looked like they had been there for a while based on the level of supplies they had. There is nothing wrong with that, people have to live somewhere and there was no problem, however asking people to pay top rates for a place like that is not on. We had no interaction with any staff at all over the four days.
Summary: Too expensive for the current state of the lodges and environment.

Positive: Our accommodation was very clean and tidy, everything we needed was supplied. There was lots of room for 6 adults and all within an easy walk of the hotel and the town (10 mins walk). The kitchen was fully equipped with good equipment and adequate hot water both in the kitchen and showers. The furnishings appeared fairly new and were very comfortable.
Negative: The accommodation was very good, but we found the hotel food service was quite slow although the food was good once it arrived. Otherwise no issues.

Positive: The location was in a very secluded area. Very safe for the children to be outside. Beautiful peacful area. The house itself was exceptional. Excellent communication with Frank. He replied to any queries I had straight away. The place was immaculant. New furniture, carpets and comfortable beds. Such a spacious house for 8 people (including two toddlers)
Negative: Wasn't much to do for a young family like ours.
Summary: I'll be back for a relaxing weekend
